WHAT AMLODIGAMMA IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Amlodipine contains the active substance amlodipine, which belongs to a group of medicinal products known as calcium antagonists.
They are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), or a certain type of chest pain called angina (angina), rare in which is Princeton's angina or so-called angina pectoris. variant angina.
For patients with high blood pressure, the medicine works by relaxing the walls of the blood vessels so that blood passes through them. In patients with angina pectoris, Amlodigmma works by improving the blood supply to the heart muscle, which thus gets more oxygen and as a result, prevents chest pain. This medicine does not provide rapid relief of chest pain in angina.
