What is Candecard H and what it is used for
The name of your medicine is Candardard N. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It contains two active ingredients: candesartan cilexetil and hydrochlorothiazide. They work together to lower blood pressure.

Candesartan cilexetil belongs to a group of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It causes relaxation and expansion of the blood vessels. This helps reduce your blood pressure;
Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics (drainage tablets). It helps the body to get rid of water and salts, such as sodium in the urine. This helps reduce blood pressure.
Your doctor may prescribe Candecard H if your blood pressure has not been adequately controlled by candesartan cilexetil or hydrochlorothiazide administered separately.

DO NOT take Candaceard H if:
