It is used for:
Peripheral Circulatory Disorders:
Chronic venous insufficiency accompanied by non-vaginal ulcerative ulcers (ulcus cruris);
Stage II-IV peripheral arterial occlusive disorders of the class of Fontaine in patients with contraindications / incompatibilities with other vasoactive medicinal products;
Occlusive diseases of Stage II-IV peripheral arteries in the classification of Fontaine in patients with trophic lesions (pre-gangrene, gangrene).
Other indications: decubitus, skin transplants, severe burns (including x-rays), skin-resistant ulcers (ulcus cruris).
2. BEFORE YOU USE SOLCOSERYL
Do not use Soloseril
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Take special care with Soloseril
The mixture of the active ingredients of Soloseril solution for injection is of animal origin. Therefore, a subcutaneous allergic test with 0.5 ml of tolgoseryl injection is recommended before starting treatment with it. Because of the likelihood of allergic reactions, mixed infusions and combination therapy are not recommended, especially with Ginkgo biloba extracts.
Since it is a derivative of calf blood, the solution for injection contains potassium and therefore the same precautions as for other potassium-containing products are needed. Caution should be exercised in patients who may be at risk of elevating serum potassium, patients with hyperkalemia; kidney failure; heart rhythm disturbances; acute myocardial infarction, and other conditions requiring the use of medicines that can help raise potassium levels (see "Taking other medicines").
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
It should not be mixed with other medicines and food supplements (especially plant extracts containing Ginkgo biloba extract). Exceptions are only the physiological solution and the glucose solutions. Caution should be exercised if Salicylar is given together with medicines that have the potential to raise serum potassium levels, such as potassium, ACE inhibitors, potassium-sparing diuretics. (See also Take special care with the use of Holoseril Injection).
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine.
Do not use alcohol-only solution for injection in pregnant women unless strictly necessary. There is no evidence of use of lactoseryl during the lactation period. If treatment is required during lactation, it is recommended that the baby be weaned as a precautionary measure.
Driving and using machines
The product is considered to be safe and has no negative effect on the ability to drive and use machines. No such effect has been reported so far.
Important information about some of the ingredients of Soloseril
As a result of the manufacturing process, the Soluceryl solution for injection contains traces of methyl, ethyl and propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E218, E214, and E216) as well as free p-hydroxybenzoic acid (E210). Take into account patients who are allergic to these compounds.
3. HOW TO USE SOLCOSERYL INJECTION SOLUTION
Always take Soloseril, exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
It is advisable, when possible and when the patient's clinical condition allows, to administer Soxoseril intravenously rather than by intravenous injection. Sertraline solution for injection should not be given as a bolus injection.
When administered by infusion or by injection, it must be diluted with at least 1: 1 with saline, glucose or glucose solution and infused slowly. Diloxetril should not be diluted with potassium-containing infusion solutions.
Infusion: It is preferable to administer soloseril by infusion, especially when the total volume of the diluted solution is more than 40 ml. The rate of infusion depends on the hemodynamic status of the patient.
Injection: If the injection of Soloseril is inevitable, the solution should be administered slowly for at least 2 minutes to reduce the likelihood of rapid potassium intake. The diluted solution of Soloseryl should not exceed 40 ml.
The recommended doses are as follows:
Chronic venous insufficiency with tissue damage (varicose ulcers): 425 mg
Occlusive disease of the peripheral arteries (Phase II-IV Stage II): 850 mg of salicylaryl (equivalent to 20 ml ml of undiluted solution) intravenously every day. Usually, the duration of treatment is up to 4 weeks and depends on the clinical picture.
Burns, improper wound healing: 10 to 20 ml intravenously every day depending on the severity of the wound. The duration of therapy depends on the clinical picture.
For additional indications, the maximum dose should be no more than 850 mg daily (equivalent to 20 ml of undiluted solution daily).
