What Respivax is and what it is used for
Respivax is a polybacterial immunostimulant that increases the body's natural resistance and specific immunity to various respiratory infections by stimulating the humoral and cellular factors of the immune system. 3. How to take Respivax
For the purposes of immunotherapy and immunoprophylaxis, Respivax for adults is used in a daily dose of 50 mg.
Respivax is administered as follows:
TREATMENT COURSE (IMMUNOTHERAPY): For 30 days 1 tablet daily, in the morning on an empty stomach; maintenance course of treatment - to achieve a lasting effect of treatment, it is recommended to take 1 tablet of Respivax® in the morning on an empty stomach for 20 consecutive days in 3 consecutive months. This course of treatment can be repeated after 5-6 months.
At the discretion of the attending physician and in cases of significant suppression of the immune system as a result of various diseases, including and malignant, the course of treatment can be extended, as patients take Respivax® 1 tablet in the morning on an empty stomach without interruption for 3-6 months.
PREVENTIVE COURSE (IMMUNOPROPHYLAXIS): One tablet of Respivax daily, in the morning on an empty stomach for 20 days in 3 consecutive months. It is recommended that prevention begin in October.
If you take more Respivax than you should
To date, no cases of overdose have been reported.
If you forget to take Respivax
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.
Continue to take Respivax according to the established schedule.

4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
To date, no adverse reactions have been observed with Respivax. Clinical results show very good tolerability.
5. How to store Respivax

Store in the dark.
Shelf life - 3 years.
Do not use Respivax after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

What Respivax contains
- Active substances - Each Respivax tablet contains 50 mg of lyophilised killed bacterial cultures of the following microbial species: Streptococcus pneumoniae, Branhamella catarrhalis, Group A Streptococcus pyogenes, Haemophilus influenzae type b, Staphylococcus aureus, respectively, Klebsiella 109 cells of each species.
- The other ingredients are: Microcrystalline cellulose, wheat starch, colloidal silicon dioxide, anhydrous, povidone, magnesium stearate, dextran 40, included in the composition of the active substance as a stabilizer.
What Respivax looks like and contents of the pack
The tablets are white to pale brown in color with a mosaic structure.
The carton contains three blisters of ten tablets.
